Every client-facing financial advisor representative has to be registered (unique RNF code so FCN200135730 is mine) with the MAS (Monetary Authority of Singapore) and you can see the type of regulated activities the individual representative is permitted to conduct, by check it against the Register of Representatives in the MAS website.

The RNF code can be found on the name card of the representative. Most representatives in Singapore are permitted to conduct Life Insurance activities.

I am able to conduct more than just Life Insurance activities. Notice that I can deal in capital markets securities.
