FDM stands for facilitating decision making. The ideation birth came from an earlier write up. But I prepared these and printed hardcopies to give to my firm – PhillipCapital as well as FPAS – Financial Planning Association of Singapore. This is so that I have given them first notice to hopefully drive meaningful action for the industry, before I make it my life mission to make the financial advisory industry more diagnostic than what it is presently.
My hopes for FDM:
- Help people take ownership and make better decisions.
- Reduce buyer remorse, reduce advisor rep bias, improve objectivity.
- A tool for everyone to use. (Pay if you want someone to do for you)
- Nudge the industry towards more diagnostic professionalism.
My sincere heartfelt gratitude to The One above who allowed my mind to discover this, and His choice to reveal a suggestible fee based arrangement that would allow this to take off. All in His timing. Amen.
